Day-Camp for Grown-Ups – Meditations in the Summer Sun

December 26th, 2006

A fun and playful learning experience for the child in you.

Most people have heard about the value of meditation but many of us don’t find the time to implement regular meditations into our busy schedules. The time required to “sit quietly, breathe deeply and let go of all worries and thoughts” often simply isn’t there. So what is one to do?
Playing, being creative and being in nature are important aspects of relaxation and often are meditative activities in themselves. Take a day out of your busy schedule to explore some easy and simple ways to relax and access a meditative state. Experience the relaxation that comes from daily activities if the mind frame is reset. And explore your mind and heart with a few simple meditation techniques that can be used at any time.

-     Learn how to reach a meditative state at any time
-     Develop your own meditation practice around your schedule
-     Integrate your children into your meditation practice
-     And more

This full-day course includes many practical exercises and examples. Please wear comfortable clothing so that you can relax and move freely as your mind lets go.
