Summer Intensive - Building Healthy Relationships

December 29th, 2006

A journey of exploration and healing.

Human beings are social beings. We are born into a family, form friendships and work-relationships, find love, build intimate relationships, and then start our own families. Our relationships shape us, teach us, shelter us, and help us grow.
However, relationships are also often difficult: parents and children have been misunderstanding each other since the beginning of time; sibling rivalry is common; and love and marriage often constitute the basis of intense conflict and tension. But giving up doesn’t make it better. Often the same problems will come up again in new relationships. It is by moving through these problems that we can learn from each other and begin to understand the dynamics of our lives.

-     Become aware of your own motivations in your relationships
-     Practice successful communication
-     Explore the relationship-patterns in your life
-     Discover the hidden reasons for recurring problems
-     And more

Many practical and exploratory exercises will enable you to delve into your own relationship patterns and continue the healing process even long after the course is finished. Please wear comfortable clothing so that you can move freely.
