About Sabine

Mission Statement:
To help individuals integrate their life experiences, emotions, and personal worldview to create an ever-increasing sense of belonging, direction and happiness.
Sabine has been working as a teacher, counsellor, and spiritual psychotherapist in private practice in Canada since the turn of the century. She came to this work with an extensive background in both, working with people and in business.
Since 1997 Sabine has been working with seniors and adults in Canada. Before this she had worked as a volunteer with children and teenagers in Germany while following a career in business management.
In the late 1980s Sabine began studies in human based spirituality and spiritual research (anthroposophy) in Sussex, Great Britain. These studies form the foundation of her work and continue to inspire her. She subsequently went on to study Spiritual Psychotherapy at the Transformational Arts College in Toronto. After her graduation from this program she joined the staff of the College as teacher and part-time Clinic Counsellor.
From early on in her studies Sabine’s main interest has been in the integration of physical events, emotional experiences, and spiritual practice. This lead her to studying fear and its impact on the world. She studied with Robert Sardello in the 1990s and excerpts of her case studies were published in Robert’s book Freeing the World From Fear.
Sabine’s focus on Soul Integration as well as human based and human related spirituality means that she chooses working modalities according to the needs of her clients. Methods can include talk therapy, body psychotherapy, chakra work, energy work, prayer, drawing and colour work, gestalt oriented pieces, aspects of voice dialoguing, guided imagery and meditation, dream work and much more. All these tools serve the same end: to help her clients gain deeper understanding of their own power and integrate the different aspects of their live in order to create greater balance and harmony.
Her observations and research have let Sabine discover that fear in its many manifestations is one of the main creators of disharmony and imbalance: it removes us from our environment, the people around us, our dreams and often enough even ourselves. Sabine believes that ultimately we all have the power and strength to heal the splits in our lives – we all have the power to love; and we all have the strength to experience beauty!
