Psychotherapy often is seen as a method only valuable if mental illness or complete emotional impasse occurred in a person’s life. However, as Carl Rogers believed, we all are striving constantly to be better human beings, to reach our full — or at lest best — potential, to grow, and self-actualize. We want to understand ourselves and our partners better; want to be better parents, partners, or co-workers; want to deal with stress in healthier ways; or simply enjoy the little things in life more. We may feel unsatisfied without knowing why, or angry without knowing with whom.
Psychotherapy can help us move forward on the path of this better and deeper understanding of ourselves and the world we live in. Used in this fashion, psychotherapy becomes a preventative method, allowing us to deal with things before they manifest in serious emotional and mental problems. Using a wide variety of tools and approaches, ranging from talk-therapy to Guided Imagery, Inner Child Work, Meditation, Energy Work, Intuition and much more, Soul-Spirit Integration teaches clients skills that enable them to listen to their inborn wisdom which in turn helps them stay on their path long after any crisis has passed. Thus Soul-Spirit Integration is more than a quick answer to a current problem – it is a tool for continuing personal growth and development.
