Themed Group: Exploring the Heart Chakra

Some of our most persistent issues revolve around our relationships with others. These issues are often difficult to address in individual therapy without the dynamics with other people being present. Group therapy offers an opportunity to observe these dynamics and get to some of those underlying issues. Group therapy comes in many shapes and forms:  open or closed; limited time or opened ended; free or themed. But what all forms of group therapy have in common is an experience of sharing one’s experiences with others, supporting others in their explorations of self, and healing some of those blocks and wounds that are connected to groups and being with others.

The basis of all our relationships is our understanding of and treatment of ourselves, especially our own relationship to our Personal Power, our Heart’s Truth, and our True Expression in the world.

This limited time, closed, themed group explores the energies that influence our heart  and how the energy of our heart chakras influence our being in the world:

  • the relationship we have with ourselves
  • our relationships with others — friends, foes, loved ones, and strangers
  • the relationship we have with the planet we are living on
  • our relationship with the Divine, in whatever way we experience it
  • and more

There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains
of nature – the assurance that dawn comes after night, and
spring after the winter. — Rachel Carson, The Sense of Wonder
