Spirit: The 7th Sense

Spirit is a word that often is misunderstood. And yet, the larger part of the world’s population believes that we are part of something larger; that we are not isolated; that we are living in a kind of ‘spiritual symbiosis’ with other human beings, animals, plants and the world at large. Most people want to feel this connection and some rely on it in everyday life. Spirituality is not always religion although all religion is build on the concept of spirituality. Spirituality has to do with a sense of belonging and a wish to contribute.

buddah6.bmpConnecting to the idea and experience of spirit can support us in everyday life: decisions become easier when we lift our eye off our own concerns and look at the larger picture; tedious tasks become lighter when we call on that invisible support system; fears and grief can be tackled with the help of a universal network of friends. This evening invites you to start on a journey of discovery of your own believes and your spiritual connections.

I’m the one who took a walk on the moon and I made the seven wonders too.
There is nothin’ that I cannot do ’cause I am human. There is nothing that I cannot be; I’m the one who sailed the seven seas and I know that it is all in me ’cause I am human
