:: Individual sessions, both therapy and professional services, are 55 minutes in length. For psychotherapy usually single sessions are booked not more than once a week. However, in certain circumstances double sessions or single sessions more than once a week may be booked. Professional services can also be booked in half-hour time frames.

:: Session fees are due before or at the beginning of a session unless otherwise agreed.

:: Session fees can be paid in cash, by cheque (made out to Sabine Cox), via PayPal, Visa Card, Mastercard, Discovery Card, American Express card, or EMT (Electronic Money Transfer). See above for links to the relevant Fees page from where you can pay with PayPal, too.

:: There is a fee for returned payments, e.g. NSF cheques. That fee currently is $10.00. It becomes due immediately and is to be included with the replacement payment.

:: For psychotherapy I offer a full and a low fee. I also have a limited number of spaces available for pay-as-you-can clients for individual therapy. Low fee and pay-as-you-can are dependent on family income. For more details please go to the Fees for Psychotherapy page (see link above).

:: For professional services I offer several fee options, depending on practice size (full time / part time) and status (supervision required, clinical consultations, counsellors’ consultations). For more details please go to the Fees for Professional Services page (see link above).

:: Fee changes will be announced here and via email to active clients at least one month before they come in effect.

:: Cancellations for sessions have to be made 24 hours in advance for sessions less than two hours in length. For sessions two hour or longer the cancellation period is 48 hours. :: I am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), registration number 1046. The CRPO is the official body governing the profession of psychotherapy in Ontario. You can find information about the regulation of the profession, our professional standards, and official complaints procedures on the College’s website at http://www.crpo.ca/.

:: I am a member in good standing with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA) and an acknowledged supervisor for the association (MPCC-S 2024).

:: If there are any complaints about me or my work, please address them with me directly. I will do my best to resolve conflicts with you. Should a conflict not be resolvable between us, you can direct a complaint to the CRPO.
