… a guided experience to find your inner light and carry it into the world
In December, the earth moves toward the shortest day of the year in the northern hemisphere, only to then – after a short moment of seeming stillness – turn itself back to the light. The Winter Solstice, which usually falls on December 21st, has been celebrated by humankind for aeons as the moment the light returns to the world. It has ever been a time for stillness, contemplation and exploring of our inner peace and faith. A moment in time that invites us to be still and listen as the world takes a breath.
Celebrating this time of year consciously, we can use it to step gently into our souls, search for our inner light and then carry it forward into the world in a new and life-enhancing way.
Between December 1st, 2024 and January 4, 2025, I will send daily journal prompts and quotes to all participants of this winter contemplation group.
In addition, once a week, on Saturday mornings (starting on Nov. 30, 2024) we will meet for a 90-minute online session. We will share our thoughts and insights from the week, explore where in our lives we feel our light, and discuss how we may find it and/or carry it forward in the coming week.
What you will get:
Daily journal prompts to your email inbox from Dec. 1, 2024, to Jan. 3, 2025. These pages will arrive in PDF format and can either be filled in online or printed out. And of course, you can also use the quotes and prompts in your own journal.
Six weekly online meetings, 10:00 am to 11:30 am, on Saturdays, Nov. 30, 2024, to Jan. 4, 2025. During these meetings, we will share our experiences and processes during the week, explore possible blocks or hurdles to finding or carrying our light, and discuss how to carry our light in the world with more ease and pride. Each meeting will also include a short guided imagery to create a safe and sacred space for the work of the group.
Cost:
$240 plus HST – includes everything mentioned above
Your Time Commitment:
You will need to commit to the weekly meetings, spending 90 minutes on Saturday mornings to share and process with others. Journalling time can vary widely from person to person and from day to day, but you may want to put 30 minutes a day aside to sit with the quotes, your thoughts and your journal.
